Louis Lenz Inventory # 17 of 71; notes grave marker in poor condition; State erected a
second pink granite marker with the same text, with Crossed Flags & Star; note
Handbook of Texas has 1788 as the year he was born; also "He was buried at his home
in a small cemetery plot marked by the state of Texas in 1931. The plot has since sunk
into Buffalo Bayou."
